Aston Martin Looking to Sign Tech Supply Deal with Daimler


You may remember some older rumors that suggested that Aston Martin was going to sign a deal to receive engines from AMG, in order to cut spending and become more competitive, but ever since we first heard about it in December of last year, there has been no talk of this anywhere…

Now, though, according to Bloomberg, Aston representatives are in talks with Daimler for initiation of “supply and technical cooperation agreements as the U.K. sports-car maker seeks to reduce spending on developing models.”

Aston Martin V12 Vantage Reportedly Reaches the End of the Line


The Aston Martin V12 Vantage is a ludicrous car. If you've even seen one up close, you’ll know it is quite short, very wide and equally low – it’s a sports car with an insanely large engine for its dimensions, and squat purposeful proportions.

The fact that AM even made it at all is surprising and impressive enough, and even more so that they managed to produce a total of 1,200 units from 2009 to 2013 (200 more than they originally planned to build, means that the likelihood of you seeing one blasting off from a set of traffic lights is just that little bit greater.

Aston Martin Confirms Investindustrial Partnership, Secures £150 Million Capital Increase


Aston Martin today confirmed that the partnership with Italian investment fund Investindustrial has been completed. Previously announced in December 2012, the deal gives Aston Martin a much-needed investment of £150 million (€177 million) in the form of a capital increase, and Investindustrial, a 37.5 percent equity stake in Aston Martin. Spied: Aston Martin Takes New Vanquish Volante Out for Running on the 'Ring


Over the past years, the Nürburgring has become something of a Holy Grail for automakers that want to hone their upcoming cars, and in some instances, even brag about their lap times.

In its most recent outing to the Nordschleife circuit, Aston Martin brought along the drop-top version of its new Vanquish, which, like all convertible models from the British brand, will bear the traditional "Volante" name.

Aston Martin Sends Hydrogen-Burning Rapide S to Racing!


Aston Martin and Alset Global, a technology and engineering company founded in 2005, have announced that they will be entering an Aston Martin Rapide S into the Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance race, which takes place May 19-20.

The car they will be using is a prototype, and it features a twin-turbo system, in addition to the fact that it can also burn both hydrogen and gasoline (in tandem or separately). The company whose name is "Tesla" spelt backwards says it plans to complete the first ever zero-emissions hydrogen-powered lap of the 'Ring, and "make history."
